While Drawing it can be useful to have reallife reffrences at hand for when you need it. since some of my characters will be cats or other animals i have afew good ones at hand, such as
Encyclopaedia of cats
Visual Encyclopaedia of animals
RSPB Handbook of Garden Wildlife
these books are really helpful as they contain countless images that can be used during my study's to help me develop my own characters.
